The following guidelines will apply to the vendor's table top demonstration room at the annual EMS Users Conference meeting.
DEMO AREA FEE
The fee that the vendor will be charged in 2005 is $1000.
DEMO AREA SERVICES RECEIVED BY THE VENDOR
For this fee, the vendor will receive:
- A standard-sized hotel conference room table with a minimum of 2 feet clearance between any other vendor's tables and on which the vendor may display any product information that the vendor desires to display. (The tables will not be pre-assigned and are available on a first come, first served basis. The tables will be covered by a standard hotel table cloth, but no booth or any other physical separator will be provided.)
- An electrical outlet will be available. (Internet service will have to be arranged by the vendor with the hotel.)
- One free registration that entitles one vendor representative access to all presentations, meals, and functions offered by the EMS Users Conference. All additional vendor attendees will receive a $50 discount from the standard Conference registration fee (unless they are speaking; see below). Please note that in 2005, vendor demo arrangements for the EMS Users Conference and the OSI PI T&D Conference need to be made separately. Vendors also need to register separately for the two conferences.
- Security arrangements will vary with the local hotel at which the conference is held.
HOURS
The hours that the vendor demonstration area will be open are:
- Monday 5 PM to 9 PM
- Tuesday by appointment
- Wednesday will be determined by the affiliated conference
- Thursday will be determined by the affiliated conference
The vendor demonstration room will be made available to the vendors for set-up after lunch on Monday.
ARRANGEMENTS FOR SPEAKERS
All presentations are eligible for a $100 discount to be applied toward the registration fee. The discount is provided per presentation and is only available once per day. The $100 discount fee will be equally subdivided among speakers for joint presentations and a vendor may assign his (her) discount share to a customer for a joint vendor-customer presentation if this is noted upon registration. The standard policy of not charging a speaker the registration fee if that speaker only attends the Conference during the day of her (his) presentation will be continued and applied to vendors.
AFFILIATED CONFERENCES
If a vendor wishes to attend any conferences that are held in conjunction with the EMS Users Conference, then the vendor must follow the registration guidelines for that affiliated conference. In 2005, the OSIsoft PI T & D Users Conference will be held jointly with the EMS Users Conference. The vendor demo area will be operated separately for each conference. If a vendor has registered with the EMS Users Conference and s(he) wishes to participate in the PI Conference, that vendor must also pay the PI Conference registration fee. In the same manner, a vendor that has registered with the PI Users Conference must register with the EMS Users Conference, if s(he) wishes to participate in the EMS Users Conference.
